The Happy Puppy Programme

Puppy Training & Puppy Behaviourist |One-to-One Home Puppy Training

Bringing home a puppy should be exciting, but the early months can also be challenging. Puppy biting, toilet training, chewing, nipping, jumping up and over excitement are all common puppy behaviour problems.

My Happy Puppy Programme gives you the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to raise a happy, well-balanced and well-behaved dog from the very beginning.

This two-hour one-to-one puppy training session at your home is completely tailored to you, your puppy and your lifestyle. Whether you are a first-time puppy owner or have had dogs before, I will show you how to prevent common problems, build good habits from the start and fast-track their skills.

Your Happy Puppy Programme includes:

A two hour, one-to-one puppy training session at your home - £250

My aim is to give you the skills to prevent common puppy behaviour problems before they become established, while helping you build a strong relationship with your puppy for life.

We will cover the areas most important to you, which are not limited to but may include:

  • Puppy biting, chewing and jumping up

  • Quick Toilet Training

  • Avoiding separation anxiety

  • Socialisation and confidence building - see notes below

  • Food, sleep and exercise

  • Age appropriate skills - such as Sit, Come, Down and Heel

  • Understanding puppy behaviour and dog psychology

After the session you will receive:

  1. A written evaluation of your puppies character

  2. A Puppy Training Guide to 6 months

  3. A Training Plan covering our work together

  4. Three months of contact with me on the work we have covered

Want to fast-track your puppy’s progress?

Additional one hour practical sessions - £90

Book additional one-to-one puppy training sessions whenever you need them to build on your progress, tackle a specific behaviour problem or, fast-track your puppy’s training. These practical sessions can be tailored to whatever you and your puppy need next.

An Important Note: Is a puppy class better for socialisation?

Many owners think that attending a puppy class is essential for socialisation. It isn’t.

Good puppy socialisation is about teaching your puppy how to feel confident and behave apropriately around the world they live in - not simply playing with other puppies.

In your one-to-one session, I will show you how to socialise your puppy safely and positively around people, dogs, different environments, sounds, surfaces and everyday experiences. You will learn how to introduce new experiences at the right pace for your individual puppy.

You can still attend a puppy class if you wish, but your puppy does not need a class to become well socialised.

I teach you how to socialise your puppy properly in the real world.

  • "We wanted to get everything right from the start for our labradoodle pup, Lynne was so knowledgeable and we learnt so much. We’ve put everything into practice and two months on Archie is just a delightful boy, everyone comments on how well behaved he is. Thank you Lynne."

  • "As soon as Lynne arrived she had Buzz, our 7 month old Cockerpoo in the palm of her hand. We were literally at our wits end with his behaviour. Lynne showed us very simple training methods and we have noticed a positive change already. I’m so glad I found her."
